We used some good angles in our camera work, i really liked the angle that is a high angle pointing down on Jack taking his hat out of his pocket because it was really unusual. I also like the tilt shot on jack when he stood still after running for a while it shows he was thinking a lot and maybe nervous to enter the room. We did a variety of different shots such as LS, CU, over the shoulder shots and MLS. One bad thing i could say about our camera work is we didnt follow the 180 degree rule just before jack put his hat on.
Mise en Scene.
I think we had a very good level of continuity in what the actors were wearing and how the room was set out. we took a lot of pictures to help us remember and keep everything looking the same.
They girl actor was wearing a grey coat and this could reflect how she was feeling. All make up was keep minimal becasue we wanted it to seem as natural and realistic as we could.
Editing and sound.
Our editing was really good i thought becasue it was very smooth and we didnt have a jump cuts. We Made sure we always did match on action so out short film looked as professional and real as it could.
The Non-diagetic sountrack which was played in the background was the guitar from the 'Greenday' piece called 'September' We had no copyright issues becasue Jack recorded it himself on his guitar. The music was parallel to the scene and complimented it really well.
The diagetic sound wasn't too overpowering and the sound effects were done at the right volume levels.
I think our lighting could have been better because we had a few bits when it was a bit too dark.
